Jessica Luebbering

Executive Director

Since 2019, Jessica has proudly served as the executive director of Father Gene’s Help Center. She strongly believes in the transformative and empowering nature of clothing, that goes beyond its simple function as a covering for skin and protection from the elements. Dresses and skirts are Jessica’s favorite clothing items. 

Theresa Liu
Marketing & Communications Director

Theresa comes to Father Gene's with more than 20 years of marketing and communications experience. Prior to joining Fr. Gene's Help Center, she served as Development Coordinator with the School Sisters of Notre Dame Central Pacific Province. She has experience in content development, public relations, social media, and fundraising. Theresa earned a bachelor's degree in English from Mount Mary University. In her free time, she enjoys baking, reading, and  traveling.

Semma McCrary
Client Relations Specialist

Semma holds the position of client relations specialist. Prior to joining FGHC, Semma served as a family engagement manager at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her background is in human services, AODA (Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse), and parenting. She’s passionate about helping children, especially children of parents with addiction issues. In her free time, Semma likes traveling and spending time with her daughter.

Kassy Garcia
Bilingual Associate

Kassy assists in the operations of the center, primarily helping to provide a high-quality shopping experience for our Spanish-speaking clients. She holds a bachelor's degree in social work from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM)). Kassy has six years of customer service experience, including an internship with the United Community Center. She is passionate about giving back to her community and helping individuals for which language is a barrier. She enjoys baking and trying new recipes.

MaryAnn Sander
Warehouse Operations Specialist

MaryAnn serves as warehouse operations specialist at FGHC. She has a broad background in retail, education, and fitness. Most recently, MaryAnn worked at the Wisconsin Athletic Club as a yoga instructor and front desk team member. She holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She also holds a number of yoga certifications. MaryAnn has two adult sons. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, reading, and gardening.

Maggie Lessor
Client Shopping Specialist

Maggie helps to provide a quality shopping experience for our clients. Her background includes customer service and marketing. Prior to joining FGHC, she held the position of Marine Manager at Milwaukee Duffy. A Disney enthusiast, she worked as a lifeguard at Disney World while in college.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Maggie is committed to keeping clothing out of landfills; she estimates that 85% of her clothing is secondhand.

Caleb Balton
Client Shopping Specialist

As Client Shopping Specialist, Caleb helps to provide a quality shopping experience for our clients. His background includes a variety of customer service and retail positions. In addition, he interned at ArtWorks for Milwaukee. In this role, he helped children develop their poetry skills through one-on-one coaching and group workshops. Caleb holds an associates degree in liberal arts from Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC). 
His interests include poetry and acting.
