Jessica Luebbering
Executive Director
Jessica proudly serves as the Executive Director of Father Gene’s Help Center. She strongly believes in the transformative and empowering nature of clothing, that goes beyond its simple function as a covering for skin and protection from the elements. Dresses and skirts are Jessica’s favorite clothing items. In her free time, Jessica likes salsa dancing, cooking, and is often found serving during dinner at the St. Ben’s Community Meal Program.
Theresa Liu
Marketing & Communications Director
Theresa comes to Father Gene's with more than 20 years of marketing and communications experience. Prior to joining Fr. Gene's Help Center, she served as Development Coordinator with the School Sisters of Notre Dame Central Pacific Province. She has experience in content development, public relations, social media, and fundraising. Theresa earned a bachelor's degree in English from Mount Mary University. She enjoys traveling with her husband, Al. She also likes live music, baking, reading, and spending time with her big Italian family.
Peggy Pushkash
Client Shopping Associate
Peggy worked with our clients for nearly a year as a volunteer before becoming an "official" member of the FGHC team. Prior to joining FGHC, Peggy taught at elementary schools in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, including Saint Sebastian and Blessed Savior (formerly Corpus Christi). Peggy and her husband, Mark, have been married 35 years and have three grown sons. The other member of their family is a British shorthair kitten named Honey. In her free time, Peggy enjoys reading, collecting old rosaries (more than 100!)., and sailing on
Lake Michigan.
Kate Ciano
Client Shopping Associate
Kate is responsible for assisting client shoppers and providing a high-quality shopping experience. Prior to joining FGHC, Kate worked as a freelance stylist and assistant, working on fashion photography shoots, as well as in film and video. She holds a bachelor of fine arts from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM)). In her free time, Kate enjoys outdoor activities, especially hiking, skiing, bicycling, and tennis. She's passionate about the arts, animals, and bird watching.
