Mission

Vision

Providing dignity through free clothing to people in need within the Milwaukee community

A transformed community where all people have access to clean, dignified clothing in which they feel confident

Father Gene's Help Center relies on volunteers like YOU to connect people in need with dignified clothing. Volunteers are needed Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Current Opportunities

Become a Volunteer

To volunteer at Father Gene's Help Center, please contact our Executive Director, Jessica, at (414) 258-4357, ext 101 or jessica@fathergeneshelp.org.

Client Shopping Assistant

Help facilitate the client shopping experience! Client Shopping Assistants serve in the front room of the center, greeting clients, finding items clients are looking for, restocking the front room, and folding selected items at checkout.

Sorting Incoming donations

It takes a strong team of volunteers to keep the center and donations organized. Sorting volunteers unpack donations, organize the clothing by size and style, and restock the racks and shelves.

Packing Client Orders

To continue serving over 1000 families each year, we must fill the clothing orders for those in need. Packing volunteers shop around the center for the items requested in the right style and size, and pack the orders for client pick up.
